Morlan Medical policies

CANCELLATION POLICY

If a patient has a scheduled appointment, whether blood draw or office visit, the patient must cancel their scheduled appointment by telephone call to Morlan Medical. NO Alternatives to a telephone/cellphone call will be accepted for appointment cancellations, including text messages or email. If a patient is unable to reach Morlan Medical staff, a detailed message with your first and last name, scheduled appointment time and reason for cancellation will be gladly accepted 24 hours prior to your office visit. A patient’s failure to cancel a scheduled appointment greater than 24 hours before a patient’s appointment will result in the cost of one entire office visit charged to the patient, in addition to the cost of their next scheduled appointment (first office visit, return office visit, blood draw or other scheduled appointment). Exceptions to the cancellation policy will be made at the sole discretion of Morlan Medical’s Office Manager on a case-by-case basis. This policy is intended to respect patient’s and Morlan Medical’s time and eliminate any and all potential HIPAA (Health Information Portability and Accountability Act) violations.
